First impressions?

Jake thinks that Jennifer is a lovely girl! A bit brusque, but that seems to be normal for people around here so he doesn't mind so much. He's curious about where she's from, as she doesn't seem to talk much about herself. Generally, it was a very good first impression! He assumes that any nervousness or uneasy feeling he gets during their conversations are due to her being a girl that he is talking to in person. Before Camp, the only woman he'd spoken to face-to-face was his grandma.

So yes, good things with some minor bad things swept under the rug. Reverse?

Jennifer likes Jake! Actually, she likes him quite a bit and considers him fun to talk to. She just thinks he's weird as fuck, and a little bit sensitive.
